Gilbert Frizberg

Chairman of the Advisory Board

Gilbert Frizberg is enso’s initiator and as Chairman of the Advisory Board the company benefits from his many years of experience in the energy sector. Gilbert is partner and CEO of the Hereschwerke Group which among others has been operating power plants for more than 100 years. In this role he has gained an outstanding expertise in areas such as the generation of energy by hydroelectric power plants, the distribution and sale of energy as well as extensive links to the Austrian and European energy industry. Gilbert Frizberg is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Verbund AG, one of Europe’s largest energy providers with a focus on hydroelectric power. Prior to that, Gilbert held various executive positions such as Vice President of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce, Member of Parliament (including spokesman on energy matters) and Vice President of “Oesterreichs Energie”, previously Verband der Elektrizitätsunternehmen Österreichs (VEÖ).

Christian Baecker

Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board

Christian Baecker joined the team of Deutsche Bank Group in 2005 and is the responsible senior portfolio manager for a DWS managed global investing real estate fund. He holds a BA in business administration and has many years of experience in portfolio management. Prior to his current role he was heading the closed end fund management department within the Asset Management division at Deutsche Bank.

Robert Gronegger, CIIA

Member of the Advisory Board

After working for Deutsche Bank for 15 years, most recently as a senior investment manager in wealth management, Mr. Gronegger switched to a single family office in early 2014. As a director, he is responsible for strategic asset allocation, finance and IT, and is involved in all processes of the very entrepreneurial family office. In particular, he supports illiquid investments and is active in several advisory boards and shareholder committees.

Mr. Gronegger holds a Bachelor of Finance and Management degree from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and is a CIIA Charter Holder.

Martin Grabenbauer, CFA

Member of the Advisory Board

Martin Grabenbauer is a business economist and worked at the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg from 2013 to 2020. There he was responsible for corporate banking and portfolio management for medium-sized companies. Since 2020, Martin Grabenbauer has been responsible for asset management issues in the management team of Mr. Meuer, Director of Finance and Digitization at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. 


Simon Jungreuthmayer

Member of the Advisory Board

Mag. Simon Jungreuthmayer joined Trivest AG as Chief Investment Officer in 2017. After his graduation in business economics, he worked for OMV AG as Financial Controller, helping to develop oil and gas projects in New Zealand. In 2006, he started his career with Trierenberg group, being responsible for corporate development and M&A transactions. During this time, he has gained outstanding experience in the areas of company strategy, asset management, M&A and joint ventures.

Christoph Leitl

Member of the Advisory Board

Christoph Leitl was appointed President of the Austrian Economic Chamber in 2000 and President of the Österreichischer Wirtschaftsbund (economic branch of the Austrian People’s Party) in 1999. After obtaining his doctorate in Social and Economic Science he assumed the management of family business Bauhütte Leitl-Werke. In 1990, Christoph joined the Upper Austrian government in which capacity he was responsible for economy, tourism, technology and energy. Five years later, he became Vice-Governor and, in addition, was responsible for finance. In 2000, his focus shifted towards the federal capital. Apart from his role as President of the Austrian Economic Chamber he has held numerous other positions such as Member of the Federal Executive Committee of the Austrian People’s Party, Chairman of the Social Security Institute for Business, Industry and Trade, Honorary President of Eurochambres as well as guest professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. 

Franz Semmernegg

Member of the Advisory Board

In 2001, Franz Semmernegg joined the Management Board of Kapsch Holding as CFO and he was appointed CEO of Kapsch BusinessCom AG in 2010. Born in 1968, the business graduate worked for many years in the Schrack Group until, in 1999, he founded Schrack BusinessCom AG through a management buyout. In 2001 Kapsch AG took a majority share in Schrack BusinessCom, which has since been operating under the name of Kapsch BusinessCom AG. In addition to his operational tasks at Kapsch, Franz holds various positions on supervisory boards and advisory committees, such as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of listed Kapsch TrafficComAG.
